Liste der Windmühlen in Deutschland
Ich habe ein deutsches Wikipedia Konto geschaffen und übersetze die englische Wikipedia Liste in Deutsch in meinem Sandkasten. Ich werde die einzelnen staatlichen Listen später bearbeiten. Bitte haben Sie ein Aussehen und lassen Sie mich wissen, was Sie denken. Bitte beantworten Sie auf Englisch auf meiner englischen Redenseite

Ich denke, dass die deutsche Liste ungefähr ist, vorbereitet, freizugeben. Es kann auf meinem deutschen Verbraucher der Sandkasten von Seite gefunden werden. Bitte Bär in Gemüt das ich nicht spreche Deutsch, obwohl ich einige holländisch spreche. Ich benutze einen Onlineübersetzer, den deutschen Text herzustellen.

- Yes, I agree. I'll create the articles in my sandbox and when complete I'll add it to the German Wikipedia. I know that all photographs on the German Wikipedia have to be free images or they can't be used. I'll leave the categories to German editors. Mjroots 21:51, 24. Okt. 2008 (CEST)

Liste der Windmühlen in Deutschland is now live. I've added the Brandenburg list to my sandbox and translated it as far as I can. I haven't checked out all the links to the towns and villages though. Let me know when it is ready to release. Mjroots 07:19, 25. Okt. 2008 (CEST)

- With the Brandenberg list, I have one concern. Is it such a good idea to have all those red links? Would a better approach be to have the title of the article but not linked. That way, it would be easy to link to the article once it had been created but without all the red links showing in the article. Mjroots 18:22, 26. Okt. 2008 (CET)
- I don't have a problem with red links and however an article is named, there should always be a redirect in the form Windmühle village, because the reader who is looking for further information mostly don't know, whether the mill is e.g. a Galerieholländerwindmühle. So the link will change into blue, when a new article is written, also when the author don't know about the list. Perhaps Z thomas has another opinion. But in this question I'm not rigid.

- i'm satisfied with the list. perhabs it's a way to force creating articles of the windmills numbered in the list;-) there is maybe an problem with calau because there two red links and both have the same name. but this problem will be saved in the future, when the articel is created. greetings --Z thomas 19:19, 26. - Well, this is the German Wikipedia, I appreciate that you may do things differently here than we do on the English Wikipedia - such as your rule that all images must be free to use. I've done as much with the Niedersachsen list as I can. The list needs to be expanded with a separate entry for each windmill in the Internationales Wind- und Wassermühlen-Museum and the Emder Mühlen articles. Towns/villages need checking as usual. Mjroots 07:14, 27. Okt. 2008 (CET)

Just found the discussion on my sandbox discussion page - hence the late reply. I'd say keep the name column. Most mills do have names, it's just that more research is needed to find the actual name of each mill. No problem with the smaller image size if it allows a bigger notes column. Mjroots 20:40, 27. - Please let the wikiprojects know that the lists of windmills may be expanded to cover all windmills that ever existed (subject to verifiability and reliable sources) if that is what they wish. An example of this is en:List of windmills in Kent, which covers all mills in the county. Mjroots 13:30, 31. Okt. 2008 (CET)
Sachsen-Anhalt and Sachsen lists are translated as far as I can. As I mentioned earlier, the other three lists will need to be created here first as I'm not able to find much information. If there are less than 20 windmills it would be better to add the info to the Germany list. Please ask the relevant Wikiprojects for assistance with these. Mjroots 11:21, 1. Nov. 2008 (CET)
