Die Universität Incheon (UI) ist eine städtische Universität in der Großstadt Incheon, Südkorea. Der Campus liegt jetzt in Dohwa-dong, Nam-gu, Incheon. Im Jahr 2009 wird der neue größere Campus in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu geöffnet ( ) und die UI wird eine staatliche Universität.

Geschichte

Die Universität wurde im Januar 1979 als private Technische Hochschule Incheon gegründet. Im Dezember 1979 wurde sie in Hochschule Incheon umbenannt. Im Oktober 1988 entwickelte sie sich zur Universität Incheon. Im März 1994 wurde die UI eine städtische Universität.
