Komisch, Sachsen und Brandenburg - sind weder Familie noch Stadt. Also wurden nicht die zutreffenden Beispiele gewählt?

Wie steht es mit dem Copyright bei Wappen? Einige Stadtwappen von Städten in Sachsen habe ich von dem Weblink http://www.ngw.nl/ !!! Kann auf ein Stadtwappen eigentlich nicht nur die entsprechende Stadt das Copyright besitzen? -- Stefan Kühn 18:26, 14. Mai 2003 (CEST)
- Auf meine Anfrage bei ( http://www.ngw.nl ): Wie steht es mit dem Copyright der einzelnen Bilddateien? Sind Wappen eigentlich frei von Copyrights oder haben da die Städte und Kreise die Rechte dran?
Kam folgende Antwort: The copyright of the pictures is with the author of the picture, not with the towns. The use of the town arms may be restricted by the towns itself, in my case in Germany only Nettetal does not agree to have the arms shown. As I have so far had no problems, it would be the best not to copy the images to your site, but to link them to my site. If you copy them, please add a link to my site and mention the original source, mentioned on each of my pages under literature.
