The Bacchus Motorcycle Club (BMC) is a Canadian one-percenter motorcycle club whose members ride only Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The name "Bacchus" is derived from an alternate name for Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, women and song. Dionysus is also represented by city religions as the protector or guardian of those who do not belong to conventional society, as such symbolizing everything which is chaotic, dangerous or unexpected.Vorlage:Citation needed

The Bacchus Motorcycle Club is one of the oldest[1] one-percenter motorcycle clubs in Canada. Founded in Albert County, New Brunswick in late August 1972.[2][3] The club is also the second largest one-percenter motorcycle club in Canada[4] with approximately 90 members distributed across seven chapters in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I and Newfoundland.[5] The club is well respected in the biker community and firmly independent of outside influence from other clubs.[6] This has allowed the Bacchus MC to maintain friendly relationships among other one-percenter motorcycle clubs they share territory with.[7] The club holds close and respected relationships with other well established and respected Canadian motorcycle clubs like Para-dice Riders MC, Vagabonds MC, Highlanders MC and the Charlottetown Harley Club.,[8] but the Bacchus MC's closest ally is the Original Red Devils Motorcycle Club based in Hamilton Ontario.

The Original Red Devils are Canada's oldest one-percenter motorcycle club, founded in Hamilton Ontario in 1948. Much like the Bacchus MC, the Red Devils are Canadian-grown, independent and respected in the biker community.[9] As of 10 November 2014, all 3 of the Original Red Devils Motorcycle Club chapters are now "patched over" to the Bacchus colours, ending the oldest one-percenter club in Canada, reportedly due to potential conflict with the name for the Hells Angels support club, also called the Red Devils.[10]
