Hussain Rasheed Ahmed (Vorlage:Lang-ar; born March 18, 1957) is a Maldivian Islamic scholar and politician who most notably served as the Minister of State for Islamic Affairs. Sheikh Hussain Rasheed is quite well known for his controversial Islamic lectures and sermons.

Family

Sheikh Hussain Rasheed's father is a famous, well-recognized and respected personality in the South of Maldives. He has 3 brothers, Ibrahim Rasheed, Mohamed Rasheed and Sheikh Abdul Rasheed. He also has 7 children.
