Vorlage:Infobox actor voice Thomas James "Tom" Kenny (born on July 13, 1962 in East Syracuse, New York) is an American voice actor who is perhaps best known for his work in the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, in which he is the voice of the title character, the narrator, Patchy the Pirate, and a number of other characters. Besides voice acting, he was also a cast member of the HBO sketch comedy program Mr. Show where he met and worked with his wife Jill Talley.

He attended Bishop Grimes High School in East Syracuse, New York, and was a classmate of comedian Bobcat Goldthwait.
He has been the announcer for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards since 2004.
He and wife Talley appeared in the Smashing Pumpkins music video for Tonight, Tonight.
He has been called "The funniest guy in pants" by co-voice actor Billy West on audio commentaries for Futurama, on which Kenny has also appeared.
