Aphantasia is a hypothesized neurological condition [1] where a person does not possess a functioning mind's eye. The term was first suggested in a 2015 study for a specific kind of visual agnosia.[2] Further studies are being planned.[3] The term was coined by the team led by Prof. Adam Zeman of the University of Exeter Medical School.
