Alfred Romer

Alfred Sherwood Romer (*28. Dezember 1894 - †5. November 1973) war ein Amerikanischer Paleantologe. Sein Fachgebiet war die Evolution der Wirbeltiere.

Alfred Sherwood Romer wurde in White Plains, New York geboren und studierte am Amherst College und der Columbia University. 1934 wurde er zum Professor der Biologie an der Harvard University ernannt. [[1946] wurde er Leiter des Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology.
