Frankie Jonas
Franklin Nathaniel "Frankie" Jonas (born September 28, 2000) is an american actor, who has a recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom, JONAS. His older brothers - Joe, Nick, and Kevin - are in the rock group the Jonas Brothers. He is best known for his role in Ponyo, in which he shared the lead with Noah Cyrus.
Life and career
Frankie was born in Wyckoff, New Jersey. He is the son of Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas I. He is the younger brother of Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas.
Jonas is set to star in his brothers' film adaption of Walter the Farting Dog, scheduled to premiere in 2010.[1]
In 2009, Jonas lent his voice efforts to a Japanese animated film, Hayao Miyazaki's "Ponyo", which was released in American theaters on August 14, 2009.[2] He played Sōsuke, a character who is befriended by a juvenile fish named Ponyo (voiced by Noah Cyrus), who wants to become a human girl. They both sing the theme tune.
He currently appears as a recurring character in the Disney Channel Original Series, JONAS, that premiered May 2, 2009.[2]
He also won the award for "Choice Breakout TV Star Male" during the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
