Scott Storch

Scott Spencer Storch (* 16. Dezember 1973) ist ein US-amerikanischer Keyboarder, Songwriter und Produzent jüdischer Abstammung, der als Mitglied der Gruppe The Roots bekannt wurde.

Mitte der 90er wurde er von Dr Dre entdeckt und für dessen Label Aftermath Records verpflichtet. Von da an beteiligte Storch sich als Co-Produzent und Keyboarder an einer Vielzahl verschiedenster Hip-Hop-Produktionen, darunter Alben von Snoop Dogg, Eve und Busta Rhymes.

2002 wurde er erstmals einem größeren Publikum bekannt; als Produzent von Christina Aguileras Singles "Fighter" und "Can't Hold Us Down" oder auch Pinks "Family Portrait" gelang ihm auch außerhalb des Hip-Hop der Durchbruch. Ein Jahr später toppte er gemeinsam mit Beyoncé und den drei Auskopplungen "Baby Boy", "Naughty Girl" und "Me, Myself And I" diesen Erfolg erneut. 2004 verhalf er zudem Mario mit "Let Me Love You" zum internationalem Durchbruch.

Momentan soll Scott Storch mit Kelis, Nelly Furtado, Paris Hilton und Jessica Simpson im Studio sein.
