Daniela Vega
Daniela Vega is a Chilean trans actress and lyrical singer. Vega received critical acclaim for him acting debut in Sebastián Lelio's A Fantastic Woman.[1]
Acting
Vega began her career in 2011 in the role of an actress in the play La mujer Mariposa by director Martin de la Parra.
In 2014, Vega made her acting debut in film with The Guest. Her performance in the Chilean film A Fantastic Woman in 2017 garnered international acclaim.
Other work
Previously, Vega worked as a hairdresser. She is also a singer, and in August 2017, she was the host, with Matias Assler, of the Pedro Sienna Awards for artistic and technical merit in the Chilean film industry.
She is also currently the main and first trans face of a commercial campaign in Chile, launched by Apumanque, to promote independent fashion.
She is the first openly transgender actress and model in Chile.
