AMD Radeon M

Radeon M (M für Mobility) ist ein Markenname der Firma AMD unter dem Grafikprozessoren für den Notebooksektor verkauft werden. Die Serie ist der direkte Nachfolger der ATI Mobility Radeon und konkurriert mit der „Geforce M“-Serie von Nvidia.
Serienübersicht
Den Status der eigenen Karte und Treibersoftware kann man mit Software wie GPU Caps Viewer (Windows XP bis 10) detailliert einsehen und kann auch kleine Demos ablaufen lassen [1].
Radeon HD 6000M-Serie
In der Radeon HD 6000M-Serie werden die Grafikprozessoren RV810 bis RV940 verwendet, diese finden auch in den Desktopserien der Radeon HD 6000 und Radeon HD 5000 Einsatz.
- Alle HD 6xx0M basieren auf TeraScale-2-Architektur mit Shader Modell 5.0 und unterstützen DirectX 11.0, OpenGL 4.4 und OpenCL 1.2.

Anmerkungen
Radeon HD 7xxxM Serie (London)
Bei den im Jahre 2011 vorgestellten Modellen der Radeon-HD-7000M-Serie handelt es sich teilweise um eine Umbenennung der Radeon-HD-6000M-Modelle aus Marketinggründen. Hier wurden jedoch auch neue GCN-Modelle mit 7700M und höher eingeführt.
- Alle HD 7xx0M mit RV9xx basieren auf TeraScale-2-Architektur und unterstützen DirectX 11.0, OpenGL 4.4 und OpenCL 1.2 und kein Vulkan.
- Alle HD 77x0M basieren auf GCN-Architektur und unterstützen DirectX 11.1 (12.0 auf Windows 10), OpenGL 4.5 und OpenCL 1.2. Mit Treiber Update zu Crimson 16.3 und höher: OpenGL 4.5, OpenCL 1.2 oder 2.0 und Vulkan 1.0.
