Es gibt eine wachsende Anzahl von Wikipediaprojekten, einige sehr aktive, andere etwas moribund. Zur Belebung und zur Sicherstellung, dass diese ein Minimum an sinnvollen und nützlichen Informationen enthalten kann diese Liste dienen.
Dazu wird eine Liste mit 1000 Basisartikeln vorgesehen, die auf jeder existierenden Wikipedia vorhanden sein sollten.
Es gibt sicherlich Fälle, bei denen es sinnvoll ist, dass der deutschsprachige Wikipediaartikel dafür als Vorbild dient.
Wie diese Liste genutzt werden kann
Diese Liste enthält Artikeltitel, möglichst verlinkt, anhand derer sich erkennen lässt wie komplett die Wikipedia ist.
