Get the Gringo

Plot
Mel Gibson plays Driver, a man who is convicted of a crime and sent to a tough Mexican prison, where he learns to survive with the help of a nine year old boy.

Production
The script was written by Mel Gibson.[1] The film is directed by Adrian Grunberg[2], who worked as a first assistant director with Gibson on Apocalypto. The film was produced by Gibson, Bruce Davey and Stacy Perskie.[3] Executive Producers included Mark Gooder, Vicki Christianson, Ann Ruark, Len Blavatnik.[4]
Filming began in March 2010 in San Diego, Brownsville, Texas, and Veracruz, Mexico.[5] Most of the filming took place at the Ignacio Allende Prison.[6]
Benoît Debie was the cinamatographer on the film.[7]
The film will be released exclusively through video-on-demand in the United States. It will be released theatrically in Australia, Russia, and some other overseas markets.[8][9][10]
