Jenna Mourey, (born September 15, 1986) more commonly known as Jenna Marbles, is an American YouTube personality.

Life and career

Born in Rochester, Mourey's mother teaches social media. [1]

Jenna attended Brighton High School in Rochester, NY.[2][3] She then moved to Boston to attend college at Suffolk University, obtaining a B.S. in Psychology, and Master's in Sport psychology and Counseling.[4]

YouTube videos

Jenna Marbles came to prominence with her video "How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Good Looking", which had over 5.3 million views in its first week (35,850,078 views as of February 8, 2012 1:58 AM GMT).[5] The video was well-received by the female demographic. Her video "How To Avoid Talking To People You Don't Want To Talk To" was featured in an August article in the New York Times[4] and ABC News,[6] in which Mourey was quoted as saying, "I'm sick and tired of guys thinking that just because I showed up at a club or a dance or a bar, that I want to have their genitalia touching my back side," though in the actual video, the word "genitalia" was actually "junk", and the word "back side" was actually "ass." The video has over 17,430,000 views as of January 2012.[7]
