Yoshi’s Island DS
Vorlage:Future game Vorlage:Infobox CVG Yoshi's Island 2 is a Nintendo DS game announced at Nintendo's press conference on May 9, 2006. It is the sequel to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island on the SNES and Game Boy Advance. All that is known is that Yoshi will this time have Baby Mario, Baby Peach, and Baby Donkey Kong to carry around, with each rider bringing a different skill to help Yoshi.
Plot
A mysterious floating island has suddenly appeared over peaceful Yoshi’s Island. Soon after its arrival, a gaggle of kids vanishes from the island school. Thankfully, Baby Mario, Baby Peach and Baby Donkey Kong manage to avoid being kidnapped. Now, Yoshi and the three young superstars must set out on a wild and colorful quest to rescue the kids and investigate the ominous island hovering overhead.
Features
- The confirmed babies that will ride on Yoshi's back are Baby Mario, Baby Peach, and Baby Donkey Kong.
- Yoshi will have his classic egg throwing move, flutter kick, and tongue lick that first appeared in Yoshi's Island
- The game will have an art style that looks like it was made with pen and pencils.
- Like Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, there will be multiple colored Yoshis.
- Each Baby will give the player different powers such as DK being able to ram through things and climb on vines, Peach being able to use an umbrella simalar to Perry and sail higher, and Baby Mario being light and able to defeat enemies by stomping on them.
