Oops!… I Did It Again World Tour
The Oops!...I Did It Again World Tour (also known as The Oops! Tour) is the third concert tour by American pop singer, Britney Spears. The tour supported Spears second studio album, Oops!... I Did It Again. The tour became Spears first world tour, reaching North America, South America and Europe.
Background
The stage setup for the Oops tour was more or less identical to the setup for the Crazy 2K Tour. Notable differences were mainly cosmetic and technical; additional platforms and elevators, minor pyrotechnic sequences, some high wire elements, and a large "disco ball" from which Spears was to make her entrance. In homage to the album the tour was promoting, the stage's background consisted of illuminated bead curtains, reminiscent of the album cover.
Spears was set to play the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California way before she was booked to play at Inglewood's Forum. When the Denver, Colorado date was canceled due to the venue (Red Rocks Amphitheatre) not being big enough for the show's set, tour producers also found the same problem with the stage at the Bowl. Two weeks before Spears was to hit the stage at the Bowl, the tour was transferred to the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California for two nights. Fans who had already purchased tickets to the Bowl concert were transferred over to the Great Western Forum to get tickets before they went on sale to the public. Even though there wasn't much time to sell tickets, both shows sold out almost instantly.
