"Get Right" is a 2005 single by Jennifer Lopez. It is the first single taken from her 2005 album, Rebirth. A remix featuring the rapper Fabolous also appears on the album.

The song was a moderate success reaching #1 in the UK and #12 in the US, both running for 1 week. The song is a mix of R&B and Funk incorporating a blairing sax sample from a James Brown song that plays continuously throughout the song. This song (first entitled "Ride" featuring 'The Bad Seed' with the exact same background music) was to be released on Usher's Confessions album, but was cut at the last minute. The Usher version was been leaked on the internet according to usher fans but since it didnt quite make the cut, Rich Harrison who was the producer of the song gave it to J-Lo and she slightly changed the lyrics to release "Get right," the lead single off Rebirth. Usher fans were outraged, as some of his original lyrics were kept in J-Lo's version of the song, namely, "Take whatever you want baby lets ride, and whatever you won't do let me decide, just put your name on the dotted line." It is believed that many Usher fans did boycot this single for the lack of originality to it.

The main video portrays J.Lo playing different characters at a nightclub, most notably playing the main character of the D.J. The end of the song features Marc Anthony's daughter singing along with the music which is shown at the video - she is portrayed as the D.J. character's little sister, as her mum is at work. There is also the "Horns Down Remix" video featuring Fabolous that takes segments from the main video and extending them against a gray backgrop. The dancing mainly consists of J-Lo dancing with a cain in an old Hollywood sideshow styled dance routine. The other segments are J-Lo basically dancing un-choreographed to the beat. All dance routines appear on screens throughout the club, as Jennifer explains on MTV's Making The Video, "A video within a video." She appears also as a Go-Go dancer, dancing upon the bar, a nerdy, shy girl and other personailties attending the club.

On an episode of Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show, broadcast 16th May 2005, Ellen introduces a segment explaining, "the only way to describe my next guest is as my dancing partner." A segment of her joining in to the dance choreography near the end of the video plays. Dancing rather badly to the guide track, Ellen prances around the backdrop trying to keep up with the dancers.

This song could also be considered the first song where listeners and fans actaully questioned her singing abilty, specially while singing live on The Today Show on 3rd March 2005, where she was accompanied by a few backing singers, doing clearly most of the singing as J-Lo strutted around on stage. Most of the performance was out of tune on J-Lo's part.

A Louie Vega club mix of the song is also available on remix albums. Plus a rare 50 Cent remix.
