Debut and First Album
On 7th June 2007, the group made their debut performance on the music program M!Countdown [2]
Their first album, "Cheerful Sensibility", was released the next day. The 13-track album was divided into 2 parts, each with a distinct music style and its own producer. The first division, dubbed "Emotional Chapter", produced by successful producer Han Sung Ho, consists of rock-ballad songs. The second portion, "FT Island Chapter", contains pop-rock tracks.

Five Treasure Island a.k.a. F.T. Island is a group of 5 talented young boys who can honorably be categorized as a boyband. Every member is very diverse and is gifted in playing a variety of instruments. They want to be loved by the world through their musical talents rather then their looks. F.T. Island truly believes that their music is more then just unique, but a treasure.
F.T. Island’s official stage debut was hosted on M!CountDown on 07.06.07. They blew away the audience with their upbeat intro song “F.T Island” & the emotional performance of “Love Sick.” And the following day, their full length album, Cheerful Sensibility was released.
Before their debut, these five boys were already winning the heart of thousands of girls through their television show Wanna be your Boyfriend which was broadcasted on Mnet. There in the show this new band was able to show off their charms, their love for music, and their young, true nature
