Liste der Naturschutzgebiete in Niedersachsen

Diese sortierbare Liste enthält alle Naturschutzgebiete in Niedersachsen (Stand: 31. Dezember 2005).

An diesem Stichtag gab es 717 Naturschutzgebiete die eine Fläche von 147.033,3 ha umfassten, dieses waren etwa 3,1 % der Binnenlandfläche beziehungsweise 2,9 % bei Beachtung des Küstengewässeranteils. Hinzu kamen mit 2 Nationalparks und 1 Biosphärenreservat weitere streng geschützte Gebiete, die den Flächenanteil (inklusive der Küstengewässer) auf zusammengefasst 6,4 % erhöhten.

Zur Liste: Erstreckt sich die Fläche von Naturschutzgebieten auf mehrere Landkreise oder Kreisfreie Städte werden diese in der Reihenfolge nach dem Flächenanteil aufgeführt. Bei einer Sortierung der Spalte "Landkreis / Kreisfreie Stadt" werden also nur die Naturschutzgebiete angezeigt die sich vollständig oder zum größten Teil in diesem Gebiet befinden.
