Vorlage:Infobox journalist Euna Lee is a South Korean-born American journalist working for Current TV since 2005.[1] Lee has been convicted, along with Laura Ling, of "hostile acts against the DPRK" and illegal entry into North Korea by its government and sentenced to 12 years of hard labor.[2] The United States Government is making diplomatic efforts to oppose this sentence.[3] Prior to this assignment to China, Lee worked as an editor.[4]
Lee was born and raised in South Korea and moved to the United States for college. She received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film and Broadcasting from the Academy of Art University and is married to actor Michael Saldate; they have a daughter, Hannah.[4][5][6]
