Good Charlotte ist eine 1995 gegründete fünfköpfige US-Rockband, die ihre Wurzeln in Maryland (USA) hat. Der Bandname stammt von einem Kinderbuch aus welchem die Mutter der Zwillinge Benji und Joel ihnen immer vorlas. Im Mai 2000 bekam die Band einen Plattenvertrag der ihnen ermöglichte international bekannt zu werden. Ihr 2. Album "The Young and The Hopless" erreichte bereits Platinstatus.
