Characterization about Erin Brockovich
Erin Brockovich is the main character in the film “Erin Brockovich” which was written by Susannah Grant. She is played by the actress Julia Roberts. Erin Brockovich is a woman between the age of 30 and 35. Erin is tall and she has long reddish brown hair. We can say that she is clothed very stylishly. Erin has three children and she is divorced. She is very self confident and she always has an answer. She didn’t have a job for a long time and she is 17.000 $ in debts because of a car accident because she hasn’t got a health insurance. Then Erin finds a job in the lawyer’s office of Ed Masry. There she often has quarrels with her boss because she sometimes hasn’t the same opinion like Ed. It’s also worth mentioning that she works very committed on the case of water pollution. Erin works very hard and she has no time for her family, so her neighbour George cares about her children. At the end of the story Erin gets two million dollars because she wins the lawsuit against the PGE and the water pollution. Furthermore she finds a friend in her neighbour George. We can say that Erin is very dedicated because she works so hard. She is very honest and open because she also tells her boss her true opinion. Finally we can say that Erin’s character doesn’t change in the course of the story because she is self-assured and open at the beginning of the story and at the end of this story Erin is self confident, too. But we can say that her situation changed because at the beginning she’s alone, with no job and no money but at the end she has a job, a friend and a lot of money.
