Dead (engl. für tot) ist eine Grindcore-Band aus Nürnberg, Deutschland. Dead wurde im Grindcoregenre bekannt, da sie die ersten waren die langsamen Grindcore spielten. Zuvor war Grindcore unweigerlich mit Geschwindigkeit verbunden. Des Weiteren gilt die Band als Initiator des sogenannten Porngrind.
