Die City University of New York (auch CUNY genannt) ist ein Verbund staatlicher Universitäten in New York City im US-Bundesstaat New York. Mit 450.000 Studenten ist es nach der State University of New York und dem California State University-System das drittgrößte in den USA. Die Geschichte des CUNY geht auf die Gründung des City College 1847 zurück.
