Bobby Berk (born August 25 1981) is an American interior designer and reality television personality. He currently stars in the Netflix reboot of Queer Eye as the design expert.[1]
Personal life
Berk was born in Texas to a Christian family.[2] He moved to New York City in 2003.[3] He currently lives with Los Angeles, California with his spouse, Dewey.
Career
Berk started his design career after moving to New York City in 2003 and spent time working at Bed Bath & Beyond and Restoration Hardware. He launched Bobby Berk Home in 2006,[4] first as an online shopping site, then expanding into brick and mortar stores.[5] He was fired from a Restoration Hardware store while the original Fab Five was filming an episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy at the store because he was unable to “clock in”. He has appeared on television networks such as HGTV, NBS, CBS, and Bravo.[4]
He is currently the Design Expert on the Netflix reboot of Queer Eye.[1]
