Azamara Cruises is a cruise line with two almost identical ships which provide cruises to Asia, Bermuda, Caribbean, Europe, Panama Canal and South America. World cruises are planned for 2009.
Founded in May 2007 as a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Celebrity Cruises brand, Azamara Cruises offers a more upscale, deluxe cruise experience. [1] The Azamara ships were originally destined to expand Celebrity Cruises' sub-brand Xpeditions, but because these ships were so distinct, it was desided that they deserved a line of their own.
