Professional career
Lockette was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent following the end of the NFL lockout in 2011. He was released on September 3, and re-signed to the Seahawks' practice squad the following day. On December 14, 2011, Lockette was promoted to active 53-man Seattle Seahawks' roster.[1] Lockette is best known for his critical 44 yard reception in a close loss to division rival San Francisco 49ers on December 24, 2011, as well as a 61 yard touchdown grab in an overtime loss to another rival, the Arizona Cardinals on January 1, 2012. Lockette is one of the fastest players on the Seahawks, putting up the third fastest 40-yard dash time at the 2011 NFL combine.Vorlage:Citation needed
