The South Wales Echo is the top-selling newspaper in Wales. Based in Cardiff, it was founded in 1884 and is now owned by the same group as the Western Mail, Wales on Sunday and The Daily Mirror. Two editions are published daily: News Extra for morning sales and City Final for evening sales.
Amongst many others, novelist Ken Follett, science writer Brian J. Ford and news reader Michael Buerk, have spent part of their careers with the Echo.
