Florida Championship Wrestling is a development territory for World Wrestling Entertainment owned by Steve Keirn. FCW was launched in mid 2007 by WWE after ending their "relationship" with Deep South Wrestling. FCW is located in Tampa, Florida. This promotion has no connection to the NWA owned promotion, Championship Wrestling from Florida.
The promotion had its debut event on June 26 2007 at the Dallas Bull in Tampa.
