TextEdit 是一個簡易的文字處理器（word processor）以及文件編輯器（text editor），首次出現在 NeXT's NEXTSTEP and OPENSTEP系統上。目前除了支援蘋果公司（Apple Inc.）開發的Mac OS X系统，另外以 GNUstep的形式存在 unix-相容作業系統上，像是 Linux。
TextEdit 取代了早期麥金塔電腦上的SimpleText. TextEdit 可讀取的文件格式包括 Rich Text Format, Rich Text Format Directory 以及 plaintext files。
