描述
OpenBitTorrent 提供免费、稳定的服务，与索引站点甚至托管种子文件无关的倡议已经取得了公众的成功，并且它已经产生了几个具有几乎相同服务的副本。
OpenBitTorrent 被怀疑是海盗湾的一部分或附属项目，因为早期观察到这两个站点使用相同的Tracker。 [1] OpenBitTorrent 项目反驳说，这些站点在启动期间（2009 年 2 月至 8 月）仅共享一个由DCP Networks和Fredrik Neij运营的Tracker集群。
