OpenMoko är ett projekt för att skapa en öppen GSM smartphone plattform, som följer FLOSS filosofin. Systemet bygger på Linux, och ipkg för pakethantering.

Neo1973
Den första hårdvaran för OpenMoko kommer bli FIC Neo1973, en version för utvecklare blir tillgänglig 11 mars 2007 till ett pris av US$350 (+ frakt?). Slutanvändarversionen kommer släppas 11 september 2007.[1]
Namnet bygger på att 1973 genomfördes det första mobiltelefon-samtalet.
