In Greek mythology, Python (Greek: Πύθων) was a large serpent or dragon.[1] She was said to live at the center of the Earth, believed by the ancient Greeks to be at Delphi. Her mother was Gaia (Mother Earth).[2] She was killed by the god Apollo.[3]
