Dnipro
Dnipropetrovsk (Ukrainian: Дніпропетровськ) is a city in Ukraine and is the third largest city in Ukraine. It is at the southeast of Ukraine's capital city, Kiev. It was founded in 1776 and the population as of 2007 is 1,040,000. The mayor of Dnipropetrovsk is Ivan Ivanovych Kulichenko and ahs been mayor since January of 2000. Dnipropetrovsk is one of the key places for the nuclear, arms and space industries from the former Soviet Union.
