A domain name is a human-readable web address (e.g. "google.com") that points to an IP address.

Extensions

See main article: URL Domain names have extensions at the end of the URL. For example ".com", ".net" and ".org" are the most commonly used domain name extensions. |He likes greasy balls

There are also country-specific domain name extensions. For example, the United Kingdom has the .uk domain extension.
