This article had a muddled mixture of Mendel's ideas and modern genetics. It is important that the article sticks to Mendel, and that modern work is presented elsewhere, such as the main Genetics page. An exception may be made in the case of linkage, perhaps the most important discovery made after the rediscovery of M's work. Macdonald-ross (talk) 12:14, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
