Sepang Internaitional Circuit

The Sepang Internaitional Circuit (SIC) is a racin circuit in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysie. It is locatit near Kuala Lumpur Internaitional Airport, approximately 60 km sooth of the caipital ceety Kuala Lumpur. It is the venue usied for the Formula Ane Malaysian Grand Prix, A1 Grand Prix as well as the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix. It is also uised as a venue for mony ither major motorsport events.

Heestory

Layoot

The main circuit, normally raced in a clockwise direction, is 5.54 kilometres lang, an is notit for its sweepin corners an wide straights. The layoot is quite unusual, wi a very lang back straight separatit frae the pit straight bi juist ane very tight hairpin.

Ither configurations o the Sepang circuit can also be uised. The north circuit is also raced in a clockwise direction. It is basically the first half o the main circuit. The course turns back towards the pit straight efter turn 6 an is 2.71 kilometres long in total.

The sooth circuit is the ither half o the racecourse. The back straight o the main circuit becomes the pit straight when the sooth circuit is in uise, an joins ontae turn 8 o the main circuit tae form a hairpin turn. Also run clockwise, this circuit is 2.61 km in length.
