ਐਡਿਨਬਰਾ (/ˈɛdɪnbʌrə/ ( ਸੁਣੋ) ED-in-burr-ə) ਦੱਖਣ-ਪੂਰਬੀ ਸਕਾਟਲੈਂਡ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਫ਼ਰਥ ਆਫ਼ ਫ਼ੋਰਥ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਤਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਸਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸਦੀ 2011 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਬਾਦੀ 495,360 (2010 ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 1.9% ਵਾਧਾ) ਸੀ।[3] ਇਹ ਲੋਥੀਆਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਬਸਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਕਾਟਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਹੈ।
