FMRIB Software Library
La FMRIB Software Library (con acronimo: FSL), che si può tradurre in italiano libreria software per la risonanza magnetica funzionale , consiste in una serie di programmi che contengono strumenti per l'analisi delle immagini e programmi di statistica per l'analisi dei dati provenienti da immagini di risonanza magnetica funzionale, strutturale e di diffusione del tensore.
Il programma FSL è disponibile sia come file binario pre-compilato che come codice sorgente disponibile sia per [[Mac OS X] che per i PC (Linux, Windows Vista e XP). Viene concesso gratuitamente per l'utilizzo non commerciale.

| MELODIC | Model-free FMRI analysis using Probabilistic Independent Component Analysis (PICA). MELODIC automatically estimates the number of interesting noise and signal sources in the data and because of the associated "noise model", is able to assign significances ("p-values") to the output spatial maps. |
