Latin Y with loop

(lower case: ỿ), a variant of the letter Y, is a letter used by some Welsh medievalists to indicate the schwa sound of ⟨y⟩.[1] The Unicode names and code points are as follows:

  • U+1EFE LATIN CAPITAL LETTER Y WITH LOOP
  • U+1EFF ỿ LATIN SMALL LETTER Y WITH LOOP
