Status
Apparently this backlog was temporarily eliminated on February 15, 2014, but currently there are 197 pages in Category:Articles to be merged after an Articles for deletion discussion. – Wbm1058 (talk) 18:59, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
Apparently there were 335 pages in this backlog when the project to eliminate it was initiated. Thus, the project to re-populate the backlog is now (197 ÷ 335) × 100 = 59% complete... or the project to eliminate the original 335 is now just 41% complete... thanks to the hard work of AfD !voters to repopulate this vital backlog. Potential problem with template
Currently, on the project page, the template is {{Copied |from= |from_oldid= |to= |diff= }} . I just attempted to use that template on this talk page: Talk:List of ships attacked by Somali pirates, but kept not getting the "this edit" parameter wrong. Looking at the other merge template on the same talk page, I substituted out the simple "diff=" with "to_diff=", which seems to have worked. Did I do something incorrect?
