This is a list of retired language articles. These articles had existed on Wikipedia for a long time, but have eventually been deemed spurious.
Borneo–Philippine languages
AKA Outer Western Malayo-Polynesian. This article was created in 2006. Thirteen years later, it was decided to remove the article as no sources could be found that discuss such a language group.
Sunda–Sulawesi languages
AKA Inner Western Malayo-Polynesian. Similarly created in 2006, and retired in 2019 due to the absence of sources.
