You decide - here is the entire text on the user page: Sean Dempsey is famous for getting his single, "Breakin' Up" remixed by Dutch DJ Tiesto and Californian based DJ Shadow. The song has also gotten airplay and recently Sean was featured in the latest edition of the Evening Herald newspaper on the 14th March '08. (You should look at this interesting dif of a Gwen Stefani album as well as Sean Dempsey)Soundvisions1 (talk) 05:17, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

A single sentence is(Two sentences are) grounds for deletion when it does not appear to violate anything at all? I trust not. Collect (talk) 12:33, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- reply: No, it is the context of the the (more than one) sentences. It is blatant self promotion, or, "Blatant advertising". And you need to look at the users deleted article on their self and certain edits such as the one example I provided. Soundvisions1 (talk) 17:37, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- "Deleted article" is not an argument for deletion of User pages. Most people who are really into "self-promotion" find words to be like potato chips. Two sentences would be a most remarkable example of "self-promotion." Collect (talk) 14:44, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. Purely self-promotional. Nsk92 (talk) 14:52, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. It isn't extensive though, per WP:UP#NOT #7, Extensive self-promotional material that is unrelated to your activities as a Wikipedian. Gotyear (talk) 17:20, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
