I have read them, and understand that they apply to the edits I made. At the time that I listed my book, The Nature of Information, in the Further Reading section of the Wikipedia article on Information, I also added a link in the External Links section of the same article to a website that sells a copy of a paper on the same subject, not realizing that it was contravening Wikipedia policy. The listing for both the link and the book were removed, and I have since had correspondence with Wikipedia editors on the subject (see Talk: Information), and asked that the listing for the book be reconsidered on its own merits, separately from the link, whose removal I completely understand. In the process, I was advised by two Wikipedia editors to change my user name, as it also was counter to Wikipedia rules. All I want is to have my book reconsidered for listing in the article where it belongs, and am hopeful that a change of user name may facilitate that. I hope it does. Thank you. Done Balloonman, you have dozens of subpages. When I moved Balloonman to Balloonman (usurped), redirects were created and Balloonman's subpages were moved over to Balloonman (usurped). When I moved Spartacus! to Balloonman, many of the same subpages were to be moved across but couldn't be done automatically due to the redirects. So there are about 5 dozen subpages that need to be moved across and redirects to be deleted. I don't have the time to do that now, and will only be able to get to a couple for the moment.
