Can't follow IPs ?

I can follow users with accounts, but can't follow IPs. When on an IP's user or talk page, the "Follow user"/"Unfollow user" link is missing from the toolbox, and if I use the top-right "Followed users" link to enter the IP address manually, I get:
"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near at line 1"

No, this was unimplemented, thanks for reminding me. Following IPs now works fine using both UIs. Let me know if you have further trouble. Dcoetzee 07:01, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
