This simple userspace template turns a link like this: http://en.wikipedia.org into a link like this: ^[1]

The template is nothing flashy. It does nothing that can't be achieved by using <span class=plainlinks>, etc. I just find {{User:Steel359/L|whatever}} faster to type out.
