Your request to be an admin

If you want to be an admin, then may I suggest that you read some of the following:

There are no fixed criteria for adminship - you need to be able to show that you will make a good admin through your history. As a rough guide, my standards for adminship are here - I don't think that I am too far away from what the average editor is looking for!

Finally, you might want to read the essay Wikipedia:What adminship is not - being an admin does not make you a more important or senior editor... it really is a maintenance thing! If Wikipedia was a University, admins would not be students or professors, they would be the janitors. They are essential to the smooth running of Wikipedia, but not important in and of themselves - and in fact, it can be stressful to be an admin!

Anyway, I just thought I'd contact you, as I saw that your attempt to put your name forward was not correctly formed.

Regards,
