Unicode mismatches

Maybe I missed it but I can't find a mapping table or image for XCCS in the references. I've fixed some of the mismatches between the hex Unicode code point and the character displayed but without a good reference I can't figure out these:

  • Xerox character, hex Unicode code point vs character displayed
  • 0x2131 U+205E VERTICAL FOUR DOTS vs U+203E OVERLINE
  • 0x2133 U+309D HIRAGANA ITERATION MARK vs U+30FD KATAKANA ITERATION MARK

  • 0xEF6F U+2238 DOT MINUS vs U+2235 BECAUSE (U+2268 is also used for 0x2235)

Additionally, these Xerox characters are currently mapped to Unicode letters. I think they should be mapped to similar looking symbols but I'm not sure:

  • 0x0027 U+02BC ʼ MODIFIER LETTER APOSTROPHE
  • 0x00C1 U+02CB ˋ MODIFIER LETTER GRAVE ACCENT
  • 0x00C2 U+02CA ˊ MODIFIER LETTER ACUTE ACCENT
  • 0x00C3 U+02C6 ˆ MODIFIER LETTER CIRCUMFLEX ACCENT
  • 0x00CC U+02CD ˍ MODIFIER LETTER LOW MACRON
  • 0x00CF U+02C7 ˇ CARON

Hopefully these mismatches can be resolved. DRMcCreedy (talk) 21:33, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
