Talk:XML template engine
I don't feel that this article belongs in Wikipedia. The concept of "XML Template Engines" is not generally recognized in the XML community, except perhaps as a name of implementations of the XSLT language, which are covered on the XSLT page; the category and its analysis appears to be the original work of the article's author. If there's any useful content in this article that's not already present elsewhere, it belongs on the XSLT page.
(Note also that there's a lot of overlap with Template processor, and no obvious relationship with Template engine.)

The content of this page, with a bit of tidying up, now seems useful and sufficiently distinct from the XSLT page which is about the language. But the title of the page is completely wrong. The term "XML template engine" is not what these things are called. I would suggest "XSLT implementations".

- Not sure really, now it just reads as a summary of xslt and xquery. As you say, this is not a common term. XQuery is not a template engine, its a query language, so inclined to just redirect to XSLT. Justinc (talk) 16:46, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
Missing processors
There is at least one processor engine missing from here (e.g., Altova’s). Is there a reason for that? Grjako (talk) 06:20, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
